STARTERS
Apricot Surprise
Brandy soaked apricots, wrapped in bacon, sautéed, flamed and served with a rich creamy stilton sauce

Cream of Tomato and Red Pepper Soup (V)
Garnished with a spicy battered leek ring

Marinated Crispy Cod
Cut from the fillet, marinated and deep-fried with spicy white cabbage and hoisin sauce

Pecan and Pistachio Crusted Brie (V)
With a warm redcurrant sauce

Main Courses

Chicken Mozzarella
Filled with mozzarella cheese, baked, garnished with grilled pancetta wrapped asparagus, served with a creamy brandy and cracked peppercorn sauce


Fillet of Sea Bass
Presented on a fresh herb and spring onion mashed potato

and topped with Welsh rarebit

Vegetable Fritters (V)
Courgettes, aubergines & mushrooms, flavoured with paprika and fresh herbs, bound with a Single Gloucester cheese, served with a tomato & avocado salsa and lemon and garlic mayonnaise
 

Gammon Steak
12 oz gammon steak served with apple and cider sauce or two local free range eggs

Rump Steak Forestiere
8 oz rump steak cooked to your liking and served with a rich red wine, shallot, tomato, mushroom and bacon sauce

DESSERTS
Baked Alaska
Vanilla ice cream encased in meringue, baked golden and served with a raspberry coulis

White Chocolate and Raspberry Cheesecake
Our own speciality cheesecake with a hazlenut biscuit base and raspberry coulis

Royal Forest Pudding
Our own recipe steamed pudding with cherries, cranberries, chopped dates, apricots and sultanas served with an orange syrup and custard or ice-cream

Banoffee Mess
A twist on the classic Eton Mess. Crushed meringue with banana, caramel sauce and whipped Chantilly cream served with crunchy granola

Hot Crepes
Served with a choice of: lemon and sugar or strawberries and cream
